What an initial consultation includes. Sixty minutes. Any results you already hold are reviewed in advance, and you leave the session with a written plan, not one sent three days later. Body composition analysis is available at in-person clinics.

What we don't do. We don't order or sell blood tests, and we don't sell supplements. We work from results you already have, and refer back to your clinician rather than around them.

Claiming through your insurer

We are recognised by AXA, Bupa, Vitality, Aviva, WPA, Allianz, The Exeter and General & Medical. Whether your own policy covers a dietitian is a separate question, and it is worth ten minutes to find out.

1. Read your policy first, under «Exclusions». Weight management on its own is rarely covered. A diagnosed condition often is. Your policy will tell you which of the two you have before you call anyone.

2. Call your insurer, and have this ready. Your medical condition and why you are asking to see a dietitian. Our HCPC registration number: DT033015. French insurers may ask for the RPPS: 10007285934. The price of the consultation you intend to book.

3. Ask them these, in this order. Do you need a GP referral letter? Do they cover online consultations? What is your pre-authorisation number? How many follow-ups are allowed? Do you have an excess, and how much? When does the policy expire?

4. If they ask for a referral, speak to your GP. Even where it isn't required, we would rather your GP knew. We work alongside your clinicians, not around them.

What we send you. You pay us directly and receive an invoice and a receipt after your appointment. Most insurers claim on that. Ask yours whether it is enough before you book.
